Michelle Obama

Ms.Obama spoke eloquently in defense of her husband. Michelle made it clear, that she did not want to come across as the woman standing behind her man. I liked this, as often political wives are viewed as accouterments. When she continues in her praise, Barrack tried to cut her off. Michelle made it clear, that she was aware that he was attempting to silence her, and continued speaking. Though she said that he was trying to stop her because he was embarrassed, I believe that it is important to take note that not even a presidential candidate can silence this woman.

Often when women speak we are interrupted by men. It is assumed that we have nothing of value to add to any conversation. What a man has to say often takes primacy. I applaud Ms.Obama for publicly declaring her right to speak. The next time you are interrupted by a man when you are speaking, regardless of the reason, have the courage to finish your thought. What we as women have to say is just as valuable as any man.

Again what problem do you have with a woman standing by her man.It worked for Hilary, why is a Black man not worthy of this? The White man conquers the world not on his own but because these White girls are taught to respect men. That is the way the world is I am sorry.Men build civilization, nations, governments, women benefit from this.

No man despite his position has the right to silence a woman. This is what a post is about. Michelle was speaking in defense of her husband when he attempted to silence her. I did not comment on the nature of what she was saying my comment referred to Barracks attempt to silence his wife. This is not a color issue it is a gender issue.
All women are socialized to submit to men and this quite different than respect. Submission is not a natural state, it is a condition of patriarchy. Finally you will never be able to point to a single accomplishment of "man" that does not involve the participation of women to some degree. Men may hold the majority of the positions of power due to the systemic nature of sexism however women have always performed in supporting roles.

But yet what do you call Hilary letting Bill run around on her all those years? You see how you are not consistent.Women want what they want,if submission will get it fine if being independent, then fine also. Most men are not buying what your saying because it it male bashing 101.

Now you are making an assuption on the nature of the Clinton marriage. You cannot state for an absolute certainty that they have a monogamous relationship. Many people lead polyamourus lives. You further do not know that she was upset by his sexual relationships you are making an assumption based on your moral conceptualization of what constitutes a marriage. For all you know Hilliary could have been in the tea room having her own fun with a secret service agent while Bill was busy with Monica. D

That comment is absolutely sick,I sorry If I have values and morals,it may offend you but this is why 95% of all Black people want these sick people away from our community. We know only a return to god will save our people from hell.Just keep writing the more you do the more people are understanding just what are the problems in our community.

You cannot make sweeping comments like 95% of black people without referring to some peer reviewed study.
I am tired of your constant reference to the bible. I beleive as Marx said that religion is truly the opiate of the masses.
What people say and what people actually do sexually are two different things. I suggest you look over the work of Kinsey. Sexuality is experienced as a spectrum. There is no sexual act that is universally considered disgusting. It is hardly sick to suggest that the Clintons may be polyamorous many people engage in this and are very happy.
