Hey Palin, Some Americans Find The Word Nigger Offensive

Well the McCain campaign said that it didn't support racial politics,he clearly forgot to discuss this with Sarah Palin; who seems to have no problem with the word nigger.  Continuing on with your speech and failing to correct the person who used such inflammatory language only confirms that when she used the term "real Americans", what she meant was white Americans.  Between the taunts of "kill him", monkeys dressed with Obama labels and now catcalls of nigger. is it any wonder that Palin rallies are beginning to look more and more like new age KKK seminars.  News flash: black Americans are citizens who have the right to vote. Continually engaging in racial politics by failing to disavow words like nigger will only only help to ensure that you are headed back to Alaska on Novemeber 5.

But that's a good thing!!
I salute her for being such a complete a..hole.
The more people she offends, the better.
She does such a great job, making sure that more people will vote for Obama.

I submitted my absentee vote and already voted for Obama, so count me in! =)

This is disgusting, she just continues on as if nothing happened. You got that right Renee, it does look more and more like a KKK seminar. If anything this election is showing America how far we have not come and how much work we have to do.

Yep, I voted for Obama about two weeks ago. I got folks registered before that and I am working the polls Nov. 4th. A person like this keeps me on my A game!

*picks jaw up off the floor*

Didn't she just say in an interview not long ago that if she had heard hostile or offensive language that she would make it clear that it was not acceptable?

Didn't she?

Sarah Palin is made of fail!

Oh my stomach churned. What's especially worrisome is that violent bigots really take their cues from people around them. If they get resisted when they say stuff like that up front, they tend to retreat. But if they feel the people around them support them (and they clearly get that message at these rallies), then they're that more likely to act out violently.

She has a lot to learn about what freedom is. I think it includes everyone having a chance to achieve to their full potential. No country has this but some countries actually try to have more of this while taking away "freedoms".

This is a perfect example of how white women, perhaps I may even say white feminists seeing as she called herself that, fail to respond to (and by extension collude with) racism.

It's fair to say that Sarah Palin colludes with racism. But to say all white women, and white feminists? Sarah Palin is no feminist! And, racism affects plenty of non-white feminists, and that hurts us all...so I think you're way off base, Feminist Review.

Shelley, you're reading in an "all" that isn't there. Kinda like how "men sexually harass women" doesn't mean "all men sexually harass women".

Having said that, a darn sight more white women do passively collude with racism than will admit to it, so just leaping to a reflex defence with "well, not all! I'm fine!" isn't necessarily the most helpful response in all circumstances.

If I was racist and sexist, but called myself a black rights activist, would that be an example of black rights activists being misogynist? As a white feminist, I know there are plenty of examples of white feminists being racist, but Palin isn't one of them, because she is simply not a feminist. Even she's admitted that now.

I wonder how she would feel if someone screamed at Obama's speech "USED UP CUNT" when someone mentioned her name, and he gave a little nod and went on.

Somehow, I don't see Obama allowing that. In fact, I think he would stop the speech and demand that person be removed from his audience.

Unacceptable.
